Zac Piya is a Brisbane music coach with 17+ years of teaching experience.
He taught piano to Tyron Hapi, producer of Masked Wolf’s Astronaut In The Ocean, a global hit with over 2 billion streams. Zac was also mentored for four years by Robin A. Smith, who has worked with Cher, Enrique Iglesias, Aretha Franklin, Lionel Richie & the Backstreet Boys.
An in-demand performer, Zac regularly performs as the frontman of his jazz & funk band. He studied at leading Australian music institutions including the Melbourne Conservatorium, Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music & the Queensland Conservatorium.
Zac & his team work with everyone from complete beginners to successful recording artists, helping students develop their skills, creativity & confidence.
Anouchka is a classically trained pianist with over 11 years of teaching experience across conservatories, music schools, and private studios in France and Sri Lanka.
She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur, the French State Diploma in Music Theory Teaching, and a Diploma in Psychology from Sorbonne University in Paris.
Anouchka teaches students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians, including students preparing for music exams. Friendly and approachable, she is especially passionate about working with children. Fluent in English, French, and Sinhala.
Antu is a guitar & piano teacher currently studying a Bachelor of Music, Performance (Jazz Guitar) at the Queensland Conservatorium. He also holds a Certificate III in Music from TAFE QLD.
With 10+ years of experience playing electric guitar, Antu has taught students aged 6–40 while performing, composing & recording across indie rock & progressive metal.
Antu has performed solo at Christmas, birthday & corporate events & is proficient in FL Studio, Ableton Live, MuseScore & Guitar Pro. He's fluent in English & Spanish.
His teaching focuses on each student's goals, using their favourite music to develop technique, practical music theory & musicianship. Antu's approach is flexible & focused on helping students understand & play the music they love.
Hamish has worked in the music industry for 20 years, performing across England, America, Australia & New Zealand at weddings, restaurants, bars & festivals. He holds a Certificate & Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance & Songwriting from the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand.
As a music educator, Hamish has taught hundreds of students of all ages across drums, guitar, bass, singing, ukulele & beginner keyboard/piano. He has also taught group lessons, helped lead student bands & orchestras, and prepared students for Rockschool, ABRSM & Trinity music exams.
With extensive experience in both live performance & music education, Hamish brings a broad knowledge of musical styles, theory & performance to his teaching.
Stephanie is a professionally trained vocalist & music educator with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice from Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium and over 13 years of teaching experience.
She has taught singing & piano to students aged 3–19 at leading schools including The Cathedral School, San Sisto College, Redeemer Lutheran College & The Gap State High School. She has also directed choirs and vocal ensembles, including a 70-voice senior choir, and lectured in songwriting at the University of Queensland.
Stephanie teaches pop, jazz & musical theatre, incorporating music theory & aural skills into her lessons. She is particularly experienced working with children and young people and holds specialist training in jazz & choral music through the Kodaly Summer School.
Punpun is our friendly & organised Studio Manager and Administrator, keeping the day-to-day running smoothly behind the scenes.
She has several years of reception and customer service experience at Away Spa at W Brisbane and FUSE Beauty Atelier, and holds a TAFE Diploma in Social Media Marketing.
